Windows
Vista - Run time errors (especially run time error 76)
|
||
| If this error appears, it's because Windows Vista has installed your program in the wrong directory (all of the other version of Windows, handles the installation properly, Windows Vista throws us a curveball). |

| Not to worry though. Assuming your installation of our software (in this case Classroom Feud) has resulted in a directory structure similar to the one shown, all you have to do is copy the Cl_Feud subdirectory to the c:\Program Files | ||
| For those of you who need specific instructions: | ||
| 1. Use your mouse to highlight the Cl_Feud subdirectory (as shown). | ||
| 2. Click 'Ctrl-c' simultaneously. | ||
| 3. Use your mouse to highlight the c:\Program Files subdirectory (this subdirectory is one above the c:\Program Files x86) subdirectory. | ||
| 4. Click 'Ctrl-v' simultaneously. Again, you'll have to have administrative rights to do this copy. | ||

* Note to system administrators - this is probably the option you will exercise when installing the software for a limited user. 1. Install the software for your user (as an administrator). 2. Log in as the limited user. 3. Then use the Compatibility tab so that the user is using the program in Windows XP mode. |
